Rahul Vaidya and Disha Parmar share health update amid dengue diagnosis as they get spotted at the airport; see video
Rahul Vaidya and Disha Parmar, who recently revealed their dengue diagnoses, were spotted at the airport, giving fans a much-needed health update. The couple, known for their strong bond and social media presence, have been battling dengue fever during what was supposed to be a festive period for them.
Rahul Vaidya, who is currently appearing on Laughter Chefs and is celebrated for his melodious voice, first shared the news of his illness on social media. The singer had been suffering from a high fever of 104°F, and just as he began to recover, his wife, actress Disha Parmar, was also diagnosed with dengue.
In a heartfelt post on Instagram, Rahul wrote, "Wasn't it enough for me to have dengue ki Disha ko bhi ho gaya," highlighting the unfortunate timing of their shared illness. Disha, showing her unwavering support, re-shared his post and added, "Together forever," capturing the essence of their strong relationship. She also posted a selfie with the caption, "Welcome to the sick club!" Earlier, Rahul had shared a photo of himself with cold wipes on his head as he battled the high fever, captioning it simply, "Dengue!"
The diagnosis came at a particularly challenging time, as it coincided with the festive celebration of Ganesh Chaturthi, a festival that holds significant importance for the couple. Rahul had previously expressed his excitement about celebrating the festival with his newborn daughter. Speaking to photographers on the sets of *Laughter Chefs*, he shared, "Iss baar aur dhoom dhaam se manayenge kyunki Bappa ki wajah se hi mere ghar par beti aayi hai or beti ki wajah se bahut achhe din aaye hai, achha bhagya aaya hai. I can't wait! Ganapati Bappa jaldi se aaye, humare ghar par aaye." (This time, we'll be even happier because Bappa has brought us a daughter. My daughter has brought us many nice days and good fortune. I cannot wait! Ganapati Bappa, please come immediately and visit our home.)
Despite their health struggles, the couple was seen at the airport, indicating that they are on the path to recovery. Fans were relieved to see them in public, even as they continue to manage their health. The video of their airport appearance has been widely shared, showing the duo smiling and waving to the cameras, a reassuring sign that they are getting better. As Rahul and Disha continue to recover, their fans are sending them love and support, hoping for their speedy recovery so they can soon return to their normal lives and the festivities they hold dear.
