Rahul Mahajan's third marriage goes kaput; A look at his past relationships and why they ended in divorce

Rahul Mahajan, who was last seen on television in Smart Jodi with wife Natalya Ilina, is headed for divorce. This is not the first time though. Rahul's previous two marriages also failed to work. Here's looking at his past relationships and what went wrong.

Rahul and Shweta knew each other for several years. Apparently, they were together in a flying school in the US. The two tied the knot in 2006 in the presence of their loved ones. However, their marriage failed to survive and ended in 2008.

The two filed for divorce in 2007. Reportedly, Shweta accused him of domestic violence. Back then, her father was quoted saying that the two had irreconcilable differences. The divorce was granted in 2008 with mutual consent.

After his first failed marriage, Rahul decided to look for love on a TV show. He did the show 'Rahul Dulhaniya Le Jayega' where he met Dimpy Ganguly. He got married to her in 2010.

Rahul and Dimpy's wedding was far from smooth. Within months of their marriage, Dimpy accused him of domestic abuse. She added that it involved 'punching, kicking and dragging her by her hair'. They parted ways in 2015.

Rahul surprised everyone by tying the knot with Russian model, Natalya Ilina in November, 2018. The two even participated in a reality show, Smart Jodi, last year.

Rahul and Natalya have ended their marriage of four years. A source told BT, "Compatibility issues were there between the two since the beginning. However, they stretched their marriage as long as they could. They parted ways last year and have filed for divorce."

Rahul had participated in Bigg Boss 2 where he was linked to Payal Rohatgi, who is now married to longtime boyfriend Sangram Singh, and Monica Bedi.
