Cannes film festival

. The entire team will travel to Cannes to be part of the festival. The festival is so huge internationally, it draws people across the world to be a part of it. For Rahat Kazmi's film to showcase here is a matter of great pride. Rahat said, "I feel extremely overjoyed and happy that the film has gotten an opportunity to release it's first look in front of the international audiences in Cannes. It is a great team effort. And I am happy that our hard work is getting a good start."
'Lines' is an international feature film; a tragic love story set on life of people on the border, during the times of Kargil war in Kashmir.

The film throws a light on the life of people who live close to LOC on the both sides and their suffering. The film is directed by Hussain Khan whose name recently appeared in IAS exams, he is responsible for making first intentional Kashmiri feature film in his 45 year career. After a successful collaboration with Oscar winner Marc Baschet for their recent film 'Lihaaf', Rahat Kazmi films, Tariq Khan and Zeba Sajid; the group which produced many path breaking films like 'Mantostaan', 'Identity card' and are now ready to showcase Lines at Cannes.
