Raghav Nayyar on Pawan Singh’s game in Rise and Fall; says ‘He is playing really good now’ - Exclusive
Bhojpuri actor Raghav Nayyar is all praises for superstar Pawan Singh’s stint on the reality show Rise and Fall. Raghav, who shared screen space with Pawan Singh in the film Sanak, expressed his admiration for the actor’s presence on the digital platform, calling it a big step for Bhojpuri entertainment.
While speaking exclusively to Times of India TV, Raghav shared, “Pawan Singh is not just an actor, he’s emerging as the face of Bihar. He’s like the Salman Khan of our Bhojpuri entertainment industry. I feel lucky to see him in the show, and honestly, the majority of people from our state are watching this show only because of him.”
Raghav went on to describe his personal bond with Pawan, saying, “We know each other well and have also worked together in a movie. I consider him my big brother. He’s a very interesting person, and honestly, I couldn’t believe it when I saw him on the show. I kept thinking, how could he even manage the time for this? He must be juggling multiple shoots. I personally feel he’s doing this to introduce the digital space to our state, as people here in Bihar are still more into television and cinema halls. With him stepping into the digital world, audiences will not only accept him but also explore this new medium.”
Talking about Pawan’s performance on the show, Raghav added, “He’s just amazing and is playing really good now. From the second day itself, his game picked up well. The only thing I feel he should be careful about is his language. Many people are devoted to him, so he needs to check on his words and avoid using abusive language.”
Raghav also highlighted how the show could help Pawan maintain his fitness. “This is a great opportunity for him to focus on workouts as well, as he may find time there easily. I wish him all the very best and hope he wins the show. I’m eagerly waiting to celebrate his victory with him,” he concluded with a smile.
