Radhika Muthukumar and Diksha Dhami share their definition of love this Valentine's Day
February is all about celebrating love, with Valentine’s Day on the 14th making it even more special. It’s a time to express your feelings and cherish the ones who matter most. To mark this special occasion, the lead actresses of Shemaroo Umang’s Main Dil Tum Dhadkan and Badi Haveli Ki Chhoti Thakurain recently shared what love means to them.
Radhika Muthukumar, who is playing the role of Vrinda in ‘Main Dil Tum Dhadkan’, shares, "Love becomes even more magical when you express it. In Main Dil Tum Dhadkan, Vrinda’s entire world revolves around her son, Kanha—he’s not just a part of her life; he is her life. But love isn’t confined to just one bond—it’s in a mother’s warm embrace, a partner’s silent support, a friend’s infectious laughter. It’s the invisible force that connects us to the people who truly matter."
She further added, "In my own life, love surrounds me in the most beautiful ways. My marriage was arranged, but the love my husband and I share is beyond words. We’re not just life partners, we’re best friends, and that makes all the difference. The way he understands me without me having to say a word, the way he stands by me no matter what—that’s the most precious gift I could ever receive. This Valentine’s Day, we just want to pause, step away from chaos, and truly be present for each other. Because in a world that’s always rushing, the most valuable thing you can give is your time, your attention, and your love."
Diksha Dhami, who is playing the role of Chaina in ‘Badi Haveli Ki Chhoti Thakurain’, shares, "Just like my character Chaina fills the air with her fragrance and spreads happiness, I also try to bring joy to the people around me. For me, love isn’t just about one special person, it can be for anyone, whether it’s a family member, a pet, or even a place that holds beautiful memories. This Valentine’s Day, I want to make the people around me smile, so I’m planning to give flowers to my co-stars and crew on set—because sometimes, a small gesture can make someone’s day. Love is meant to be shared, so let’s celebrate it in every way possible! Wishing you all a Valentine’s Day filled with love and happiness.”
