Pulwama attack: Ravi Dubey and Sargun Mehta contribute Rs 3 lakh for the martyrs

The deadly terror attack in Jammu & Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Thursday (February 14) has left the entire country in a state of shock. The attack, that happened on the fateful night of 14th February, 2019, has claimed the lives of over 40 jawans. Many prominent celebrities have condemned the attack and also showed their support by donating money for the welfare of the families of the martyrs.
TV actor Ravi Dubey and his wife Sargun Mehta have also offered to contribute and support the families of the martyrs.
Ravi shared the same on his Instagram account and explained why he is letting everyone know about his contribution. The actor in his post wrote that he got inspired by one of his peers, and hopes to encourage others to do their bit as well.

He wrote, "Yes we could have done this privately ...but we too got inspired to take action and contribute whatever little we could because we saw one of our peers post ...I hope it inspires others to contribute and support .. #JaiHind #JaiBharat #pulwama"

In the worst ever terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir since militancy erupted in 1989, a Jaish-e-Mohammad suicide bomber on Thursday rammed his vehicle packed with explosives into a Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) bus on the Jammu-Srinagar highway in Pulwama district, killing at least 40 troopers on the spot. The toll rose to 49 on Friday as several succumbed to their injuries.
