Puja Banerjee reveals they had kept their house on the mortgage to give the money that they lost in the scam; says 'Bas mere bacche ke sar se chhat na jaye'

Puja shared, "We are talking about this today because during Eid I had posted a video on my Instagram handle after which we have been receiving a lot of calls to know what has happened. So we want to share it with you all. These past 2-3 months have been extremely difficult for us and have no idea what will happen next. We have been a victim of a fraudulent financial scam and we lost a huge amount."

Talking about the scam, Puja detailed, "We have to start from zero and we won't give up. We don't want to give up. We lost all our savings in this fraud. All we want that you all support and pray for us. We believe in god." Kunal added, "We are part of an Industry where our livelihood is connected to you all. If our work isn't watched by you all, then there is no worth of it. You all our family and you need to know that we got cheated by someone."

Puja furhter shared, "Bohot waqt laga humein iske baare mein baat karne mein. We are both in shock and Kunal is deeply affected by this. We still get overwhelmed when we talk about it." Kunal quipped, "When you trust someone for past 3 years. Has been with you, becomes a part of your home and family." Puja added, "We are deeply hurt but we don't want to give up at this point and come out stronger."

Kunal shared how they have been dealing with it, "We have cried enough behind it and these past months were extremely shattering. All we want is support. It was impossible for us to share it with our family but now with this video they will come to know. It feels terrible to share such news with them. All our lives we have worked hard and earned."

Kunal revealed that the battle is long to get all the money that they lost back from the scammer, he said, "We shall keep updating you all but pray that we get the amount that we lost back. We know its a long battle but we will fight it together." Puja urged that they are trying hard to retrive the money that was scammed and has been constantly praying.

Puja breaks down in tears and shares that they have been struggling to get back, "We are only asking you all to pray for us and support us. Hum phirse mehnat karenge, phir se ladai karenge, phir se aage badhenge. Humein wapis zero pe laake khada kar diya hai. And I am surely we will overcome this phase with our hardwork and move ahead."

Puja took to her Instagram handle wishing everyone Eid, however, the actress shared how her friend who would eat biryani with them during Eid is having dal chawal due to their sudden dropping financial condition. She urged everyone to pray for them and shared that in hard times only the true friends stay like their friend who came to their home.

Puja revealed that they had mortgaged their house for the money that they lost. She said, "I have asked from bhagwan that please save us from these problems. Bas mere bacche ke sar se chhat na jaye, humne ghar girweh rakh ke paise diye the. If we don't get the money back, we will lose our home. I am sure Hanuman ji will listen to us and protect us."
