Priyamvada Kant: A partner from the industry will increase my stress levels

While most people prefer a life partner from their field of work, Priyamvada Kant thinks otherwise. The actress, who is currently seen in 'Tenali Rama', reasons, “Our profession is very uncertain, so a partner from the industry will increase my stress levels. Having said that, one never knows… if I find someone special, I might make an exception.”
Priyamvada, who is single at the moment, is open to dating.“He should be fun, smart, understanding, compassionate and congenial,” she says. So, what’s keeping romance away from her life? “Daily soap actors have crazy shooting schedules. A strong relationship needs time and attention, and it’s not possible with the kind of lives we lead,” she adds.
The actress says that she won’t let the experience of her past relationships affect her future. “I do get affected, but over time, I’ve learnt how to bounce back and let go. I don’t live in my past and so, each day is a new beginning for me,” she says.
Ask her what her idea of a romantic date is, and she replies, “I’ve been told that I’m a very non-romantic person. My idea of a perfect date is having effortless fun. All that should matter is each other’s company.”
