Priom Dev Gujjar on the Cockroach scene that shows Raj’s obsessive love in Lakshmi Niwasl says “It May Sound Bizarre”
Family dramas on continue to entertain the audience with their gripping content. Though the story of Lakshmi Niwas is centered on the aspirations and relationships within the context of the middle-class family, the character of Raj Bundela, played by Priom Dev Gujjar, has managed to impress the audience as the perfect match for Bhoomika, played by actress Riya Munjal. Raj Bundela, the millionaire businessman, has been seen currently as a calm and composed character who loves Bhoomika with great care and affection. Therefore, Raj was presented as the perfect green flag character who loves Bhoomika wholeheartedly and tries to make her happy in every way. However, as the story progresses, the audience gets to see the dramatic change in the character of Raj Bundela. What was portrayed as the character of Raj Bundela as pure and genuine love slowly starts to reflect the character of Raj as an obsessive lover.
Surprisingly, Priom shared that the intense cockroach scene he recently shot was actually the very scene he had performed during his audition.
Speaking about the moment, the actor shared, “Interestingly, the scene I recently shot for the show is actually the same one I performed during my audition for Lakshmi Niwas. When I first read it, I remember thinking how intense and unusual it was. In the scene, Raj sees a cockroach on Bhoomika and reacts in a very extreme way; he kills it and even eats it just to show her that nothing can harm her while he’s around. It might sound weird, but that scene truly reflects the obsessive and unpredictable nature of Raj’s love for Bhoomika. So far, audiences have only witnessed him as an ideal partner, but in this scene, they get a glimpse into the darker side of his personality and how far he is willing to go in order to protect her.”
As Raj’s character takes an unpredictable turn, audiences can expect major twists in the movie that will challenge all that they have come to know about him and his character in relation to Bhoomika.
