I believe the adulation and love is not for me, it’s for Lord Krishna: Sourabh Raaj Jain

Sourabh Raaj Jain, who played Lord Krishna in Mahabharat (2013), says, “I believe it is a blessing that I got the opportunity. I got a lot of appreciation and continue to receive so much love from people. But I believe the adulation and the love is not for me, it’s for Krishna. I just happen to be a medium, an actor who simply folded his hands before every scene to be able to give it the purity it required. It was truly inspiring for me.”

Playing Krishna gives me peace & I would gladly take the role again: Vishal Karwal

Vishal Karwal, who has portrayed Lord Krishna 10 times in various TV shows, including Dwarkadheesh - Bhagwaan Shree Krishn, Paramavatar Shri Krishna and the ongoing Rahu, says, “I have been part of a number of mythological shows, but playing Lord Krishna gives me immense peace. It has a very positive effect on me. Before you convince the audience that you are playing a role like this, you have to convince yourself. Playing Krishna was a life-changing experience, I would gladly portray him a hundred times more if given the opportunity.”

It has been a moving and transformative experience for me: Mrunal Jain

Mrunal Jain played Lord Krishna in Kahaani Hamaaray Mahaabhaarat Ki (2008). He shares, “Playing Krishna on screen has been a profoundly moving and spiritually-enriching experience for me as an actor. It helped me delve into the depths of spirituality and connect with my higher purpose. The role has not just been about acting, it has also been about self-discovery, exploring the teachings and wisdom of Krishna.”

Playing this role brought about a shift in my lifestyle: Ssudeep Sahir

Ssudeep Sahir, who was seen on Paramavatar Shri Krishna (2017), shares, “It was truly a life-changing experience for me. In embodying the calm and peaceful nature of the character, I felt a sense of inner serenity even amidst the chaos on the set. What was even more surprising was the sudden change in my dietary preferences. From being a hardcore non-vegetarian, I suddenly preferred a more plant-based diet. I also made a conscious decision to stop consuming alcohol. This shift in my lifestyle further reinforced my commitment to living a more mindful and balanced life.”
