PICS: Avika Gor has come a long way from her 'Balika Vadhu' days

Avika Gor surprised her fans when she decided to chop off her long hair earlier this year before she bid adieu to the role of Roli in hit TV serial 'Sasural Simar Ka.' The actress, who made her debut on the small screen as a child bride in the hit TV series

She played the role of a much grown up and married Roli in Sasural Simar Ka at the tender age of 16 but after two years she decided to call it quits and now she is in her own young self.

Film Festival over the weekend. Avika's eyes lit up with sparkling make-up while her short hair was curled to perfection.



Accompanied by TV star Manish Raisinghani, they walked the red carpet on Friday to watch the trailer of a French film named "Juste La Fin Du Monde" ("It's only the end of the world), directed by Xavier Dolan. On Tuesday, the trailer and poster of the two actors' short film "Ankahee Baatein" was unveiled at the gala.



Hours later, Avika posted a few more pics of hers looking cute in short dresses, trousers with off shoulder top. She has a lot of swag as she take the French Riviera by storm.

She is at the Cannes Film Festival to promote her short film which has been selected for the Short Film Corner. The film stars Manish and TV actress Barkha Bisht. Avika is the creative director of the movie, helmed by Manav Bhinder.
