The previous show

Pehredaar Piya Ki

showed a 9-year-old boy getting married to an 18-year-old girl. This didn’t go down well with the Indian audience and resulted in the show getting banned.


Tejasswi and the team was broken after the ban. But the makers of the show decided to bring a new show on simmilar lines and now Rishta Likhenge Hum Naya seems like a more acceptable version of Pehredaar Piya Ki.


Actress Tejasswi Prakash, who plays the lead role in the show, says: "The moment our show goes on air, we are going to be under scrutiny. people are going to take out flaws in our show but that just motivates us to work even better."

"It feels amazing to be back. And we are back with a bang.We are all good people and nothing bad will happen to us and we are extreemly happy for the show."She added.
