Payal Rohatgi: I’m a fan of indori hospitality and love dancing with the people here

Payal Rohatgi has a special fondness for Indore. The actress has been to the city several times, most often to perform at celebrations and to walk at fashion shows.
And every time she is here, Payal makes it a point to explore the city. Recently in Indore to perform at a wedding, she spoke to us about the soft corner she has for the city’s food, among other things.“People of Indore are very warm and they always welcome me with love. I have become a fan of their hospitality. I love coming to this city again and again.”

Of course, the hospitality also extends to the events that she performs at. When we asked her about a song that she’d like to groove to with the people of Indore, she said, “Indoreans are always willing and they just need an excuse to dance and have fun. I’d love to shake a leg with them to Baby Doll or London Thumakda.”

When in Indore, it’s almost like a ritual for any outsider to taste the tempting local delicacies of the city and Payal is no different. She too has tasted the famed namkeen and poha-jalebi. She says, “I’d heard about the famous poha-jalebi and namkeens. I have tried some during my earlier visits and I look forward to taking some of it to Mumbai with me.”
