Pavitra Rishta actress Ankita Lokhande got emotional on the sets of DID Super Moms after seeing one of the contestant paying tribute to late actor Sushant Singh Rajput. Ankita could not really hold back her tears after a contestant on the show paid a sentimental tribute to late actor.
The upcoming episode intends to honor the essence of relationships. Contestant Sadhana Mishra and her choreographer performed Kitni Baatein from Farhan Akhtar's hit film Lakshya. A few pictures of the late actor were presented in the background as the duo danced.
In one of the pictures, we saw Sushant Singh Rajput questioning through the picture in the background with the help of special effects and was saying “kyu puri ho na paayi daastan…” After seeing his picture actress Ankita got very emotional and was unable to control herself from crying.

Ankita said a few words for her former beau and co-star Sushant, after seeing the performance “Woh bohot close ek dost tha…voh sab kuch tha. Aur woh jahah bhi hai bohot khush hai I am sure. God bless him.”
Usha Nadkarni, who played the role of Sushant's mother in Pavitra Rishta, accompanied Ankita. Both actresses became emotional as flashbacks of Pavitra Rishta flashed through their minds. In the television show, Sushant played Manav and Ankita played Archana for the uninitiated. The couple was adored for their on-screen chemistry as well as their off-screen pairing.
Sushant died by suicide in June of 2020. The actor's untimely death shocked his fans, friends, and colleagues in the entertainment industry.
