Swara Bhaskar, who’s currently winning hearts on Pati Patni Aur Panga with husband Fahad Ahmad, issued a statement calling out the trolls. She mentioned how husband Fahad is being called a ‘chhapri’ and a ‘street vendor from Dongri.’
Swara took to her social media handle and slammed trolls for negative comments against husband Fahad. She reacted to some of the hate comments and expressed her disappointment over the same.
She wrote, “This twit who describes himself both as a proud Hindu and Ambedkarite does not seem to know that Chhapri is a casteist slang… a derogatory term used to describe a community that fixes ‘Chappras’ or thatched huts. Also, nothing wrong with being a street vendor from Dongri or anywhere, you casteist/classist trash-brain! #casteistAlert.”
She is currently making headlines for her participation in Pati Patni Aur Panga with husband Fahad Ahmad. Hina Khan-Rocky Jaiswal, Rubina Dilaik-Abhinav Shukla, Debina Bonnerjee-Gurmeet Choudhary, Avika Gor-Milind Chandwani, Swara Bhaskar-Fahad Ahmad, Geeta Phogat-Pawan Kumar, and Sudesh Lehri-Mamta Lehri are participating in Pati Patni Aur Panga.
In the show, Swara shared her thoughts on her wedding: “There was something poetic about beginning our married life in the same home where I spent my childhood. That space held bedtime stories, vacations, growing pains… and now, it holds our wedding memories too. Celebrating there was a throwback to so many things; it was a reunion of every version of me — the daughter, the granddaughter, and the wife.
