Social media sensation and television actress Aashika Bhatia shared a dance video on Instagram recently Little did she know that the video would be at the receiving end of innumerable negative comments. Aashika danced to the song 'Level Up,' and received comments such as "Filhal aapko apna workout level up krna chahiye (sic)" [Firstly, you've got to up your workout level]

Aashika Bhatia shared the dance video and captioned it, "Level up." Take a look at the video here:
The trolls just couldn't stop and called her 'saand, bhains, moti.' [Bull, buffalo, fat.]. They did not stop there and a few even suggested that she get a whole body checkup done. "Better u get a full body checkup dude u r in need of it (sic)." Aashika's fas came to her rescue and said that it's her body, she could stay the way she wants to.

One of the users went to the extent of calling her a "truck," and said, "YE TO TRUCK HAI ISKA LEVEL KAM NHI HOGA (sic)"


This isn't the first time that Aashika Bhatia has been

trolled

. She has received such hate comments and has been body-shamed in the past too.

Television actress Aashika Bhatia, who appeared in shows like Meera, Parvarrish and in a film with Salman Khan went missing from the screens after her leg surgery. Aashika has a humongous fan following on social media and makes her presence alive online by creating videos for her fans. Although Aashika has stayed away from the small and big screens, she has been in touch with her fans through an online video-creating application. ETimes TV contacted Aashika Bhatia exclusively to know how her quarantine days are being spent and many other aspects related to her life. Read on to know more: (Interview By: Gayatri Nirmal)

Of course, I would want to go back to my field as I started with that and I love doing it. Acting is my passion. I would never leave that. TikTok offers me a great platform and I love keeping my fans entertained with the help of it. (Photo: Instagram)

A little over three years ago, I came across this platform. I started to upload videos on it and my fans really liked them. It’s really cool to be able to make fun videos and I’m glad for it. The love and support of my fans keeps me going. (Photo: Instagram)

We all have to be responsible towards a fan and pass on the right messages. I’m passionate about so many areas such as women empowerment, safety measures particularly during this time of the lockdown. In fact, we have been doing our bit by telling our fans to Stay at Home. Speaking of which, she had exclusively told ETimes TV in the past, "Always remember that each one of us is beautiful just the way we are. Nobody can take that away from you or say anything. Earlier, Aashika has given back to the trolls by saying that she doesn't take money from anyone's family to feed herself, so they should mind their own business, and not concentrate on her body.
