Be it any character or film, every actor has an inspiration in their life, which inspires them to choose their career path. Actress Harshpreet Kaur, who is currently seen essaying the role of Chandrika in Parineetii, reveals that Urvashi Dholakia's iconic character of Komolika from Kasautii Zindagii Kay inspired her to become an actress.Talking about her inspiration, Harshpreet says, "Since childhood, I have been fond of Komolika's character. I was in third class when my mom started watching Kasautii Zindagii Kay. She used to watch that show daily and I got fascinated with Komolika's character. I liked her style and her dialogue delivery. Whenever I saw her on TV, I used to say that 'I want to become an actress like her.' Her character sowed the seed of acting in my mind. So, I can say that 'Komolika inspired me to become an actress.' "Harshpreet further adds, "I remember that I used to stand in front of a mirror and enact Komolika's character. It was so much fun and my mother used to praise me. I used to listen to Komolika's dialogues so seriously that I ended up learning a lot of them. Komolika has created a benchmark in the negative role. Needless to say, Urvashi literally nailed that character and even today, whenever I think of vamp in my mind, only one name strikes, which is of Komolika. Though my current character in the show, Parineetii, isn't a negative one, if I play a negative character, then I would take inspiration from Komolika."
