Paridhi Sharma on Shah Rukh Khan’s 60th Birthday: “Sharing screen space with him in an ad shoot was surreal”

Actress Paridhi Sharma, who is soon making her Bollywood debut alongside Emraan Hashmi and Yami Gautam, can’t stop smiling when she recalls her unforgettable experience of working with Shah Rukh Khan. As the Bollywood legend turns 60, Paridhi fondly looks back at her special moment of sharing the screen with him for an advertisement shoot an experience she describes as “nothing short of a dream come true.”


“I’m still on cloud nine after working with Shah Rukh Khan! Sharing screen space with him was a dream come true, and I feel so lucky to have had the chance to collaborate with him on that ad shoot,” Paridhi says with a bright smile.



The actress, who has captivated audiences with her performances in shows like Jodha Akbar, Patiala Babes, and Yeh Kahan Aa Gaye Hum, admits she was completely starstruck on set. “He treated me with so much love and warmth, making me feel very comfortable. I was starstruck, to say the least! When he stood next to me, I couldn’t believe it was surreal. And the way he worked, his energy, his passion… it was infectious,” she recalls.


For Paridhi, the most inspiring part of watching SRK up close was witnessing his unwavering dedication and fearlessness. “The thing that has always inspired me most about Shah Rukh is his courage he’s taken huge risks in his career, like playing negative leads in Darr and Baazigar, which was unheard of for a leading man back then. His willingness to push boundaries and take challenges head-on is truly remarkable,” she says.


She also admires his ability to connect with people on a human level. “The way he makes everyone around him feel seen and heard… it’s no wonder he’s loved by millions. He carries his stardom with such grace and humility that’s what makes him timeless.”


Paridhi says that the day she worked with Shah Rukh Khan is one she’ll cherish forever. “I got to sit at the monitor and watch him perform, and it was like being transported into another world. I could smell his signature perfume, hear his voice up close it was magical. Working with him was more than just a professional experience; it was a moment I’ll carry in my heart forever.”
