Parakh Madan rings in the New Year with mother and pet: A small intimate celebration
Parakh Madan, who has been a part of shows like Bhagyalakshmi, Anupamaa, Meet, Qurbaan Hua, Sapne Suhane Ladakpan Ke, Niyati, and Saathi Re, to name a few, is not one who enjoys loud celebrations. She prefers a small get-together over crowded affairs and chose to bring in the new year 2026 with her mother and her pet in the comforts of her home.
She said, "I don't party. I don't enjoy loud music where after some time your head starts spinning just because of the noise. I prefer home celebrations, a quiet party with just family or friends. And my New Year's Eve party was just like that. It was my mom and my pet dog. We had good food, we watched a good movie, we wished each other at 12 am, and we went to sleep."
Though she shared that she has always been like this, a few people get into the quiet celebration mode with age. "Not everyone likes to party at home, but after a certain age, when you start working, when you have responsibilities on your shoulders, when you have people who are looking up to you, you stop going to clubs, and you don't like being around anything loud. You spend more time at home, and you celebrate with your close-knit family," she said.
Parakh is optimistic that 2026 has come with brighter days and a positive aura. She said, "2026 is going to be the complete opposite. It will be happy, positive, and fulfilling."
On the professional front, she mentioned that she has entered the new year with renewed confidence and energy and will look for roles that are more powerful. "This year I am going to choose my roles carefully. I want to do roles that speak in silence and leave an impact on the audience. It's very important to build a connection with the viewers, and once you succeed in doing so, your work as an actor is done," she said.
She also accepted the rising competition in the industry but believes that talent and hard work always pay off. "Competition was always there, and yes, it has increased in the past few years, but when you are talented, when you are dedicated towards your craft, when you are passionate about your work, the right opportunity always comes to you. But that doesn't mean you stop looking for it," Parakh ended.
