Ashish Dixit, who is currently seen in television show Palkon Ki Chhaon Mein, is enjoying his new year with family exploring wildlife.He shared, "My character is off from the track currently in the show and finally I got a small break. The break was much much required as before this I was shooting for Ekta Kapoor's television show 'Parineetii,' as Vikram and was also shooting for a movie Dhoop Chhaon, which recently got released. By God’s grace I got a break just at the right time so that I could ring in my New Year's with family… my wife (Shweta Kanoje) and I along with some extended family members."The actor is spending his New Year vacation in Madhya Pradesh while exploring the famous Pench National Park.

He says, "I always love to explore wildlife and tigers always manage to take away my attention. So we all planned to explore Pench, as during this time there are very few tourists as people mostly see happening places. It is one of the most prime and critical tiger habitats remaining in central India. It’s famous for its ferocious Bengal Tigers and very much symbolic between MP and Maharashtra. I'm really enjoying my new year vacation."The actor, who is also known for featuring in shows like Dil Dhoondta Hai and Aapke Aa Jane Se also hopes to get back to work soon."It is very important to take time out for yourself and your loved ones in life. This gives a different strength to our mind and body, and gives us the power to move forward in life. And there's a different power in the lap of nature, like I'm feeling right now in the middle of the woods. I hope now to get back to work soon after a much needed break," he concluded.
