Olympic fever grips Ashish Sharma

The hot and dashing Ashish Sharma, who won millions of hearts as 'Chandragupta Maurya', will soon be seen in Jay Mehta’s cross continental love story Rab Se Sona Isshq on Zee TV.
Ashish plays the role of Ranveer, a young ambitious Punjabi guy who is obsessed with the idea of making it to London. He deserts his love on the day of their wedding to chase his dreams. Just like his onscreen character, Ashish was also fascinated by the idea of shooting in London and this was the key attraction that made him sign 'Rab Se Sona Isshq'.
“I have never been to london before so the prospect of shooting in London for 90 days was one of the biggest reasons that made me sign 'Rab Se Sona Isshq'. I have already made the list of the places that I will be visiting. I am planning to have pleasure while working.”
The actor is super kicked with the idea of visiting London as the 2012 Summer Olympic Games are round the corner. The Olympic fever has also gripped Ashish and the actor has made plans to enjoy each and every moment of being in London during the Olympics.
“Yes, will be there during the Olympic games and I am eagerly waiting to watch our Indian players perform. We will be there for three months so obviously we will have some time on hand. We are not going to shoot 7 days a week. In fact we have already decided that we will work extra hours on Friday so that we get weekends off.”
