Bhaage Re Mann' actress is often seen doling out tips to her friends and co-actors on staying fit with this healthy practice.
READ ALSO:Nupur Alankar unites with in-laws after 14 years She says, “I started doing yoga in 2005 after I found out I had diabetes. I was told that I could control and keep it in check through this form of exercise and right diet.” She also resorted to it to lose weight.
“I have never been into sporadic weight loss programmes or crash diets as all the weight returns when you get back to your normal routine. Instead, I choose to do my yoga religiously and follow strict meal times. I also did a nutrition course, which helped me understand my body needs. I eat every two hours and my diet includes dates, fruits and three-meals,” she says.
Incidentally, the actress has been refusing shows that require her to shoot at night. “My body has supported me all along and now, it’s my turn to return the favour. One night shift can disrupt the whole rhythm,” she says.
