Noticed this? Similarities in the tracks of Ghum Hai Kisike Pyaar Mein and Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai

Viewers have been noticing some similarities between Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlataa Hai and Ghum Hai Kisike Pyaar Mein. Currentlynin Yrh Rishta... there is a track going on which revolves around Armaan (Shehzada Dhami), Abhira (Samridhi Shukla) and Ruhi (Pratiksha Honmukhe). It's all about how Armaan loved Ruhi but married Abhira while Ruhi married Armaan's younger brother Rohit. The situation in the Poddar family is quite similar to what the first generation story of Ghum Hai Kisike Pyaar Mein was. In the first season, the story revolved around Neil Bhatt, Aishwarya Sharma and Ayesha Singh. Neil's character had to marry Ayesha while he loved Aishwarya, who had to marry Neil's younger brother. The twists and turns that took place unfolded exactly like what's happening currently in Yeh Rishta.

A source says, "It is quite common to see shows having similar tracks because they keeping mind what works with the masses. In the past, pregnancy, marriage, couple separating and getting together, mother or father separated from their children have found a connect with viewers. So, if a particular track worked in Ghum Hai Kisike.., it is quite possible that the same track would be seen in another show."

BT reached out to Samridhi about it and she said, "I’ve personally not watched Ghum so I don’t think it would be right to comment on the same. We are just playing our parts and giving it our best."

In an earlier interview Samridhi told BT, "I am happy with the way our initial episodes have shaped up and I am sure our show will find a connect with the masses. As actors we have to give our best, I am not thinking of the ratings right now."
