Not Mukesh Khanna, but Ravindra Mankani in 'Peshwa Bajirao'
The shooting of Sphere Origin's magnum opus 'Peshwa Bajirao' --- a show chronicling the life of Maratha leader Peshwa Bajirao --- has gone on floors. And after we reported about Pallavi Joshi coming in place of Mrinal Kulkarni to play Tarabai, we are back with yet another update on the casting front. It was reported by a website that Mukesh Khanna has been signed on to play the part of the noble saint, Brahmendra Swami. However, the latest development is that the veteran actor is no longer part of the show. The makers have roped in actor Ravindra Mankani instead, to essay the pivotal role.
While Mukesh didn't answer our call, Ravindra confirmed that he is part of the show. However, he didn't have a clue about Mukesh being approached for the role earlier.
