The show will soon mark the comeback of handsome and smart Nishant Malkani of 'Ram Milayi Jodi' fame on the small screen.
Nishant, who quit television for films, will soon be seen in an episode of this crime thriller.
Nishant will play the role of a popular film star Sameer, who is very flamboyant by nature.He gets nominated for the National Awards but few days before the function, Sameer gets kidnapped by a group of terrorists.
But they later release him with an intention of killing the President of India who is also attending the function. It will be interesting to see how the investigative team of ‘Shapath’… solves this case and what is the real mystery behind Sameer’s release.
