, who was seen playing the role of
Paras
on
Nima Denzongpa
, has quit the show due to a recent back
injury
which he suffered on the set last month. It happened while he was shooting a scene where he had to fight with a goon who tried to misbehave with
Manya (Nima's daughter). During the scene, he badly injured his back
Talking about his injury, the actor says, "I will not be able to continue with the shoot due to the back injury that I suffered during the action sequence. So I had to quit the show. Unfortunately my injury developed into slip disc and I have been undergoing treatment, physiotherapy and been on bed rest for the last 45 days now. People from the production waited all this while but the doctor says I will need another month to recover. So they had to bring in another actor."
It's a difficult phase but Prabhat is somehow. managing. He says, "I am recovering slowly and I can walk around inside the house for just 20 minutes. I still can't step out. But overall I am much better now. In a month's time I should be able to get back to normalcy. I feel sad that I had to quit the show but I am thankful for the opportunity to play Paras. And i appreciate that the production house waited this long for me to return before deciding on a replacement."
