Nikita Dutta hospitalised for dengue?

Actress Nikita Dutta has been missing of late from the show '

Ek Duje Ke Vaaste

', in which she plays the protagonist. Turns out that she is unwell and has been hospitalised since last week after she complained of high fever. Producer Dilip Jha informs, “Her health worsened on Monday evening after her platelet count dropped. It seems to be a relapse as she was unwell last month. She is suffering from some infectious disease, which the doctors suspect is dengue.”
And how is the unit managing without the protagonist? “We had a bank of episodes and managed the shoot with her body double. We are hoping that she’s able to resume the shoot for at least a few hours from Saturday,” said the producer.
