Neha Varma says goodbye to Naagin 7

Actress Neha Varma is all set to bid adieu to Naagin 7, wrapping up her stint as Swarna. Reflecting on her journey, she calls the experience both exciting and memorable. “My experience with Naagin was truly wonderful. The scale of the show, the professionalism on set, and the energy of the entire team made it very special for me. It’s such an iconic franchise that being part of it felt incredibly rewarding,” she says.

Addressing the perception that her role was brief, Neha clarifies that it was far from a cameo. “I played one of the negative shades, and in a show like Naagin, where I shot for almost four months, being the first character to be killed often gets the maximum limelight because the entire plot kicks off from there. A lot of effort and attention goes into that role, and it’s something viewers tend to remember. I was actually quite happy and satisfied with it,” she shares.




Talking about playing the glamorous and layered Swarna, Neha says she thoroughly enjoyed exploring the character’s many shades. “Swarna was multi-dimensional — a gold digger, someone cheating on her husband with her boyfriend, a murderer, and eventually the one who gets murdered. I also got to perform an item song, and being on the harness for an action sequence for the first time was quite exciting,” she says. Grateful for the opportunity, she adds, “I’m really happy that I got to do so much action, drama and romance, and even a double role in a sequence, in such a big show like Naagin.”
