Neelu Kohli is the latest one in the entertainment industry to contract COVID. ETimes TV has it that she learned about it this morning (January 6). The senior actress was in a bit of discomfort last evening.
When contacted, Neelu said, "You will not believe that I got to know about my COVID-19 only when last evening I got the mandatory RTPCR test done. I had a slight uneasiness in stomach last night but I never expected it would be COVID-19.
My manager rang up in the morning to say it is
Omicron and I was stunned. I was going to shoot for a short film, today. Khair, abhi toh I have quarantined myself in my bedroom. The husband occupies the guest room and the daughter-in-law is in her bedroom. My son is away on a ship."
Neelu said that she has no more symptoms today and hopes to be alright in a week's time. "Thank God, it is not Delta but Omicron. My husband had the Delta variant last year and we had gone through a very traumatic period," she concluded.
Neelu Kohli has done many roles in many Indian television series like 'Piya Ka Ghar Pyaara Lage', 'Na Bole Tum Na Maine Kuch Kaha, Madhubala – Ek Ishq Ek Junoon and Shastri Sisters.
Mind you, Neelu Kohli was double-vaccinated.
