Vikrant Singh made headlines by getting married on the reality show
Bigg Boss 10. The actress was a participant in the show while Vikrant was brought inside the house for a few episodes to grab eyeballs.
The two got married on the show in a lavish ceremony and post BB, Mona and Vikrant even participated in
Nach Baliye 8
. Monalisa then went on to bag supernatural series
Nazar
and has been doing well on TV.
While Monalisa plays the negative lead in Nazar, her husband Vikrant is now all set to make his debut in a fiction show on titled
Vidya. The actor will play a key role of MLA Avtaar Singh.
Vikrant said, "TV is a great medium to work. A lot happened when I did doing Bigg Boss with Monalisa during season 10, we even bagged Nach Baliye together post that show. This year I felt it was time to be part of a fiction show where I will get a scope to perform. I am happy that I am playing a politician in Vidya."
The show will start airing from tonight (September 9). It has Namish Taneja and Meera Deosthale in the lead roles.
Besides, TV Vikrant is a popular Bhojpuri actor and has around 26 films to his credit. He is one of the biggest stars of Bhojpuri industry.
