Nakuul Mehta pens a sweet note for Drashti Dhami and her baby Leela: “Celebrating this little hooman”

Nakuul Mehta and Drashti Dhami share a friendship that has stood the test of time. Their bond goes beyond the glitz of the entertainment industry. From travelling together and celebrating milestones to showing up for each other through every phase of life, their relationship truly defines lasting friendship. Both stars are now proud parents. Nakuul recently welcomed his second child, a baby girl, while Drashti embraced motherhood last year with the birth of her daughter, Leela, on October 22.

Last week marked Leela’s first birthday, which also completed Drashti’s first year as a mother. To celebrate this special milestone, Nakuul wrote the sweetest note for his best friend. Now, a week later, Nakuul and his wife, Jankee Parekh, joined Drashti for a small yet heartfelt celebration, marking the occasion with a belated birthday cake for the mother-daughter duo.

On October 28, Nakuul, Jankee, and Drashti gathered at a cozy restaurant in Juhu to celebrate Leela’s big day. The trio marked the moment with a small chocolate cake, just as sweet as the birthday girl herself.

The Ishqbaaz actor shared glimpses from the evening on his Instagram Story. The picture featured Jankee, their son Sufi, Drashti, and her adorable daughter Leela — all smiling brightly. Nakuul stayed behind the camera, capturing the moment. While Leela’s face was covered with a red heart emoji, her playful gestures clearly stole everyone’s hearts.

In the caption, Nakuul wrote, “Celebrating the little hooman turning 372 days.”

Nakuul also gave a special shout-out to Drashti for completing her first year of motherhood. Sharing another picture, he wrote in his trademark witty style, “Happiest birthday to the mothership of Leelz @dhamidhrashti.”

Meanwhile, on the work front, Nakuul Mehta was last seen in Do You Wanna Partner, alongside Tamannaah Bhatia, Jaaved Jaaferi, and Diana Penty. The show, directed by Archit Kumar and Nishant Naik, was produced under Karan Johar’s production.
