Sasural Simar Ka 2 actor Karan Sharma is tying the knot with actress Pooja Singh on March 30. Karan was earlier married to singer and actress Tia Kar. Tia, who had participated in Indian Idol a few years ago, had married Karan in 2016 but the two divorced 3 years later.
On Thursday, Karan Sharma’s ex-wife actress and singer Tia Kar, posted an Instagram story with Kangana Ranaut’s popular dialogue from Tanu Weds Manu Returns - Waah Sharmaji, Reebok nahi toh Ribook sahi.
When we asked Tia about this, she denied that the post had anything to do with Karan’s engagement to Pooja Singh. She said, “I’ve moved on in life, which means I’ve let go of the past and I am focused on my own journey. I haven’t been in contact with Karan, so I didn’t know about his marriage plans. But if it’s true, I’m happy for
him. I hope his life is filled with joy and love.”
Talking about her Instagram story, Tia said, “It has nothing to do with my ex-husband. I’m a huge admirer of Kangana Ranaut and I was watching Tanu Weds Manu, which is why I shared one of the dialogues on social media. Coincidentally, the surname of Tanu and my ex is the same (laughs).”
Karan Sharma has acted in many shows including Udaariyaan, Wagle Ki Duniya, Banni Chow Home Delivery, Kaala Teeka and Ek Nayi Pehchaan. The actor will have a traditional wedding among close friends and family. Pooja Singh has acted in the TV show Diya Aur Baati Hum.
