Muskaan Kataria stranded in Dubai: A missile blast happened right opposite our building
Television actress Muskaan Kataria, currently seen in the show Mann Sundar, has been stranded in Dubai amid ongoing regional tensions involving the United States, Israel and Iran, which have led to widespread airspace restrictions and flight cancellations across the Middle East.
Muskaan had travelled to Dubai for a vacation, but disruptions to flight operations have prevented her from returning to Mumbai despite several attempts. The actress says she has tried booking flights with multiple airlines, only to have them cancelled repeatedly, leaving her stuck in the UAE.
She said, “I am here in Dubai with my parents. We had come for a vacation, but because of the current situation and repeated flight cancellations, we are unable to return right now. I’m disappointed with the airlines as flights are being cancelled continuously, and I’m not receiving clear responses that would help me plan my return.”

Describing the moment that alarmed her and her family, the actress recalled witnessing missile interceptions from her hotel. “On the second day after I reached Dubai, I was staying in Marina. I was standing on the balcony when a missile blast happened right opposite our building. It happened right in front of my eyes. After that, I saw several missiles being intercepted by the UAE’s defence system in the sky. It was definitely a shocking moment for me and my parents. They were naturally very anxious about our safety when it happened.”
While that incident was unsettling, she emphasised that the situation within the city currently remains largely stable and that authorities have maintained normalcy. She shared, “It was a tense moment for all of us, but thankfully things are calm now and the authorities here are ensuring everyone feels safe. Cafés and restaurants are open, people are following safety measures, and the authorities are providing all possible support.”
Muskaan also said that she has informed her production team about the situation and that they have been understanding. She said, “I have already informed the production team that I am stranded in Dubai because of the current situation. They have been extremely cooperative and supportive. For now, they are managing the shoot schedule without me and have assured me that I should return safely. I will join the shoot as soon as I land in Mumbai.”
