In a rare conversation about his personal life, Munawar spoke about his wife, Mehzabeen Coatwala. The multifaceted star bared his heart, revealing how Mehzabeen’s grounded wisdom has changed his outlook on life, parenting, and the little things that truly matter.
“She values everyone,” Munawar said with quiet admiration. “The way she takes care of kids… It’s not about flooding people with love, but being practical. She knows what’s right and what’s not for them.”
He shared an anecdote that left him humbled. During a meal, when their child asked for water and a plate, Munawar felt the child shouldn’t have to get up in the middle of eating to fetch them. She reasoned, “Yes, it will be provided to him, but it’s important to remind kids that this won’t always happen. They need to be prepared for anything.”
That simple moment, Munawar admitted, was an eye-opener. “It dawned on me that she’s right. I’m always thinking that I work hard so my kid can have the best of everything. But giving them the best isn’t enough. They need to know reality, too. They should learn that fetching a glass of water on their own is just as important.”
As Munawar continues to rule hearts on television as the host of Pati, Patni Aur Panga, his journey shows no signs of slowing down. With First Copy 2, Angadia, and a few yet-to-be-announced projects on the horizon, the comedian-rapper is set to expand his creative canvas.
