Back in action after nine months, fitness freak Mrunal Jain will be flexing his sharp muscles along with his acting chops on the small screen. He will be seen as a super villain, who will double up as a cop called Rajbir, in Yash Patnaik’s 'Nagarjun'. Explaining the intricacies of playing such a role, he says, “My character Shankachurna is different compared to what I have done in the past. The costume that I will be wearing has a lot of elements, including claws jutting out from the right shoulder.”
It takes the actor over an hour just to get into the look of the character, complete with the costume and a wig, which he is wearing for the first time. “I take approximately 50 minutes, which includes 20 minutes for the make-up and extra 20 minutes to adjust the wig,” he says.
He admits that he has a tough time managing his wig. “It’s crazy. You need a lot of patience. I have more respect for all the female artistes who have to go through this process every day,” he signs off.
