Molkki’s Anushka Sharma reunites with her on-screen father Amar Upadhyay on the sets of Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi; says ‘He treated me like his real daughter’

Child actress Anushka Sharma, best known for her role as Juhi Pratap Singh in Molkki, recently surprised veteran actor Amar Upadhyay on the sets of Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi. The 13-year-old actress, who shared a special on-screen father-daughter bond with Amar, decided to meet him during her short visit to India, making the reunion truly heartwarming.Currently residing in Bahrain, Anushka has temporarily paused her acting career to focus on her studies and personal growth. Speaking about her visit, she said, “Currently, I’ve shifted to Bahrain, I visited India for a short period of time. As while leaving India during May this year, I couldn’t meet Amar sir, so I thought to meet him this time to greet and take his blessings. He is as same like before. I really enjoyed meeting him and getting nostalgic.”Recalling her Molkki days, she fondly shared, “As he was playing the role of my father in the show and most of the scenes were with him, we used to spend time together and that was like an acting workshop. I got the opportunity to learn so much from him. He used to treat me like his real-life daughter. We used to make reels together, and he never had any attitude. He’s a very kind and humble human being.”Anushka also revealed how Amar was protective of young actors on set. “I remember he was very careful and possessive about us. For example, he used to make sure we were happy and comfortable on sets. In fact, if he saw unusual lines in our script, he would immediately get them changed. I even celebrated my birthday with him and met his wife. It was a nice experience, and we are still in contact.”On the professional front, Anushka has also been part of shows like Naagin 6 and Professor Pandey Ke Paanch Parivaar, along with roles in Bollywood movies and web series. While she focuses on academics now, her fond memories with Amar remain a cherished part of her acting journey.
