Mohit Malik: The idea of enacting a scene differently when I watched films, inspired me to push myself towards films

Actor Mohit Malik made his Bollywood debut with Abhishek Kapoor's Azad. The actor in a post also recently shared his journey in showbiz.

He said, “There were so many times when I watched other actors on screen and thought, I would’ve done that differently. It was those moments that fueled my passion and kept pushing me forward, even when doubts crept in. Fast forward to 2025, and here I am, living the dream that once seemed so far out of reach.”

Mohit shared further, “I can honestly say I’m stepping into this new phase of my career with so much more confidence, because I got an opportunity to work Abhishek Kapoor. His guidance and mentorship have been invaluable, and it’s made me grow as an actor. The whole experience has been nothing short of transformative, and I feel so grateful.”

Mohit also wants to convey thanks for his acting coach. He said, "A special thanks to my friend and acting coach Kanishka Aggarwall for helping me find Tej!"

Baatein Kuch Ankahee Si actor, Mohit, who has played diverse roles in TV shows over the past decade, in an earlier interview with BT, said, ""I have been working in showbiz for the past 19 years but in the initial years, the goal was to earn money and run my home. The goal was never about bagging a film because I wanted to learn the craft and get comfortable. For the longest time I told myself that it was not the right time to act in films and I kept working on my craft. But since the past three years, I figured how it was time now to show my craft to a different audience and work with good filmmakers in the process."
