Mohit Malhotra, who was last seen in
Daayan
is excited for the release of his debut film
Hacked, which is scheduled to release next year. The film, directed by
Vikram Bhatt, has Mohit playing the male lead opposite
Hina Khan. “We have just wrapped the film and are awaiting its release in January next year. I am very excited as this film marks my entry into
Bollywood
. I am hoping it will do wonders and make way for more opportunities for me,” says Mohit.
Talking about the film, Mohit explained how the plot is quite relatable.“The film is based on social media and how everyone’s life is dependent on it. It has a very interesting plot and everyone who watches it will relate to it,” he said. Mohit plays the childhood friend of Hina’s character in the film. “The film shows my character in a positive light and how he finds out Hina’s character is in trouble and helps her to come out of the it. The hero fights the villain of the film and takes over him at the end,” adds Mohit.
Elaborating on his equation with his co-actor, Hina, Mohit says, “It was fantastic working with Hina as she is a very sweet girl. We enjoyed every bit of the shoot and had a lot of fun on the set as well.”
