I indulge in a wide range of reading materials from historicals to biographies, health and fiction. In the past, I really enjoyed reading I Feel Bad About My Neck by Nora Ephron which is a totally hilarious book. It so happens that whenever my husband
Kabir is working on a film, he often brings along many new books on that particular subject. And I tend to get drawn towards reading some of those titles while at home.
In all the genres of writings, I am especially fascinated with biographies. I’ve read both Bill and Hillary Clinton’s as well as president Obama’s latest one.
I am more into non-fiction books, those with a different setting or country or with a historical or political backdrop. I also do a lot of travel reading – about places I’ve been to and about those I’m planning to visit next. If I read something in the night, and go to sleep, I need to read the last page of the same book again the next morning to get into the flow again. My home is a testament to my love for books. All the walls from top to bottom are full of stacks of books. What also helps is that my in-laws are avid readers.
