Mere Angne Mein fame Charu Asopa to marry Sushmita Sen's brother Rajeev: Here's all you need to know

Mere Angne Mein fame Charu Asopa is all set to tie the knot with Sushmita Sen's brother, Rajeev Sen in Goa on June 16. Before walking down the aisle, the love birds shot for a pre-wedding photoshoot and looked made for each other. While Charu looked gorgeous in a heavy embroidered grey and golden lehenga, beau Rajeev looked dapper in a grey suit. The couple sat down for an exclusive conversation with the TimesofIndia.com and talked about their wedding preparations, sister Sushmita Sen's reaction on their relationship and also revealed their honeymoon plans.

Honestly it is a dream come true moment. Two-three months ago we used to randomly discuss that let's get married, but we were not sure. I feel till the time it doesn't hit you don't feel it. Now when we see the wedding preparations on we feel oh so it happening. It is a beautiful feeling. The best part is we have our parents blessings and support with us.

Charu: The feeling is yet to sink in.

Rajeev: We don't think we are rushing into marriage. Our intentions are clear and we are true to each other. I don't think it should matter. We never felt we need to spend more time together. We were confident within 2-3 months of dating each other that we want to get married. Very early on in our relationship we understood that we want to be together, but we were not sure how to take things forward as we had just met.

Charu: The best part of being together is that I can talk about anything to him. He is my best friend, my boyfriend, and very soon he will be my husband. I am getting getting married to my best friend what else I can ask for.

It was such a beautiful post. Sushmita Sen (Didi) is a wonderful person inside-out. I feel lucky to have her as my sister-in-law.

Rajeev added: The best part is we are very comfortable and understand each other. We also have our share of fights, but we patch-up as well which is very normal with couples. When we have arguments or misunderstandings we talk it over and move on.

Charu: Love for me is being comfortable with the person you are. Respect is very important in a relationship.

Rajeev: For me Love and care goes hand-in-hand.

Charu: He is very supportive. I remember when we started dating initially I was not able to give him enough time as I was shooting, but he never cribed. He was always very supportive

Rajeev: I have always loved the fact that Charu is a working woman. She takes her profession very very seriously and does it with full heart. I have been on one of her shoots and have seen the amount of dedication she puts into her work. She is very focussed and gives her 100 percent so that is one thing that I have really appreciated in her. I have always told her if she wants to pursue her career even post marriage I will always be there for her. I'll be the happiest person.

Charu: I was a little apprehensive to fall in love again as I did not want to go through the pain, but Rajeev made things easy for me. (Mera saara darr inhone bhaga diya...)

Rajeev: I am very protective about her just like how her mom would want to protect her.

Charu: Sushmita sen (Didi) has selected my wedding lehenga and it is beautiful. I am so excited to wear it. He hasn't decided what he is going to wear.

Rajeev: Once her clothes are ready, I will make something for me which will be colour coordinated. Currently, the entire focus is on her.

Rajeev: Yes, few of friends will be travelling to Goa for the wedding. It is a very private wedding, we have kept it that way. We will have a reception for everyone later in Mumbai.

Rajeev: We are thinking about going to Europe for our honeymoon. It won't be an immediate one, we will leave 15- 20 days post the wedding.
