MasterChef winner Pankaj Bhadouria raises breast cancer awareness amid diagnosis, says, ‘I was fortunate it was detected early’
MasterChef winner Pankaj Bhadouria shared an emotional health update following her recent cancer surgery and expressed gratitude for the overwhelming support she received. The MasterChef winner further urged women in her video to prioritise regular breast cancer screenings and preventive health check-ups.
In a video message shared with her followers, Bhadouria thanked fans, friends, and well-wishers from across the country for their prayers and good wishes during her recovery journey.
“Hello everybody, I personally wanted to thank all of you. You have given me so much love and support. People have been reaching out to me from all over. I am so grateful to all of you. Because of your prayers, I am on the road to recovery now. With God’s grace, my surgery went very well,” she said.
The former MasterChef India winner revealed that her cancer was detected at a very early stage, which improved her chances of recovery and made the surgery successful.
“I was very fortunate that my cancer was detected at a very early stage. That is why I could recover. That is why my surgery went so well,” she shared.
Using her personal experience as a platform for awareness, Bhadouria emphasised the importance of preventive healthcare and routine medical examinations. She credited a routine health check-up for helping detect the disease before it worsened.
The chef particularly appealed to women in their 40s and their family members to remain vigilant about breast health.
She also stressed that breast cancer can affect anyone and encouraged women to perform regular self-examinations and seek medical advice whenever necessary.
“My doctors tell me that in India, one out of every 20 women is susceptible to breast cancer. So please take care of yourself. Be aware of your health. We all think that it won’t happen to us, but it can happen to anyone,” she said.
Bhadouria concluded her message by once again thanking supporters for their prayers and encouragement, saying she felt “truly grateful” and “indebted” for the love she received during one of the most challenging phases of her life.
A few days ago, Pankaj Bhadouria revealed that she had been diagnosed with breast cancer and had recently undergone a successful surgery. Post-surgery, her team updated fans about her well-being through a social media post.
