Manit Joura loves surprising people

TV actor from the show, Kundali Bhagya says he loves surprising people, and of the people he surprises often is his younger sister, Kanika. While Manit stays in Mumbai for his profession, his sister is in his hometown, Delhi and is married. This year on Raksha Bandhan, Manit did not make the trip back to Delhi because of the pandemic. But, he nevertheless decided to surprise his sister by sending her a gift."I gifted her a phone, which reached her on the afternoon of Rakhi," he says, adding, "Her phone had broken, so I thought of gifting her something useful."
Manit says his sister loves him immensely. "She worries for me like my mom!" he laughs. "I remember in July 2007 I had just shifted to Mumbai for my acting career. She and I both thought that I won't be able to make it back to Delhi for Rakhi, which is in August, since I had just started work in Mumbai. So, she sent me a chandan rakhi with a small packet which had sugar in it for the muh meetha rasam. I got emotional seeing it and decided that I just have to fly to her in person, and that is the least I can do for her. So, I packed my bags, booked a flight and left for Delhi. When I landed she was on the first floor of the house, having breakfast. She actually froze seeing me and didn't know how to react. She started crying and we hugged each other and celebrated Rakhi. I have been doing such things often. I don't like to tell people but I just show up. I really like surprising people."
