TV actor
It is after many years that television actor Manish Goplani is getting to spend time at his home in Jaipur with his parents. “After living with them for almost two months, I have realized now how much I missed being with them,” he says. The Bepannah Pyaar actor flew down to Jaipur to celebrate Holi with his family and is now glad that he is ‘stuck’ here. “I consider myself lucky. I don't know what I would have done in Mumbai alone during this time,” he adds.
Manish shares that ever since he moved to Mumbai five years ago to pursue a career in acting, this is the longest he has been home. "I never spent more than 10 days with my parents at home due to my work schedule. During this lockdown, I have started appreciating even the smallest of things that they do for me and feel that no matter how busy you are, you must spend 10-15 days with your family every few months," he says. Manish lives in a joint family in Jagatpura. "I am getting to eat maa ke haath ka khana, something that I used to crave for back in Mumbai. In fact, I also help my mom in the kitchen. I sometimes miss going to the shooting sets but I put my energy into things that I love, for example, gardening, reading and playing the drums."
Manish used to play the drums back in his college days and thanks to the lockdown, he got back to drumming. He further shares that he starts his day by watering his plants and cleaning his car every day. "I love gardening as it brings me close to nature. Also, I am a car lover and clean it every day as I love to see it spic-and-span," he adds. Like everyone else, lockdown has resulted in some cancelled plans for the Thapki Pyaar Ki actor too. “I had planned to travel to Ahmedabad for a family function and later go to Ladakh with my friends. But all the plans stand cancelled,” he says.
Manish is also in touch with his friends from the industry, especially the Thapki ... team, including actress
On the work front, the actor has recently been offered a TV show but he isn't sure whether to accept or reject it.
