Mandira Bedi shares throwback picture of her first role; and it's not Shanti

Mandira Bedi is a well-known name in the entertainment industry. The actress-turned-host, who rose to fame after playing the title role in Shanti, recently shared a throwback picture, which clearly shows how she loved to act as a young girl, even before she entered the glamour world.
Along with the picture that Mandira posted on her Instagram account, she wrote: #throwback to the first role I ever played..that of the Bandarwala in Blue.. at the age of 2! #ThrowbackThursday #monkeyboy

The 45-year-old actress will soon be seen in a short film titled 'The Gift' alongside actors Gul Panag and Kushal Punjabi.

Talking about her future projects, in a recent interview to PTI, Mandira had said,"It seems people have woken up today as I have got some really good roles and they (makers) are looking at me as an actor again. I am doing a couple of films... I am busy with my acting job. There is lot of interesting work in the pipeline be it web series or films."
She is also working in a web series and in a Tamil film in which she plays a cop.
