Malti Chahar recalls her journey as an actress in the industry; says, “I used to look up to Sushmita Sen and Aishwarya Rai”
Bigg Boss 19 celebrities have been continuing to make headlines even after the show. Recently, Malti Chahar appeared in a vlog with Farah Khan, where she opened up about her life. She shared about her personal life, journey as an actor, parents’ reaction to Bigg Boss 19, and much more.
Malti shared how she currently lives alone in her flat in Mumbai. She then recalled her struggling days and how she took up acting and modelling to survive in the industry. Malti also addressed rumours about her conflict with Pranit More.
She shared, “I’m currently living on rent in this house and I love this space. When I first pursued acting, I also used to do modelling because to survive here, you have to do anything. I looked up to Sushmita Sen and Aishwarya Rai as they also chose modelling and later became actors.”
Recalling her childhood memories, she said, Malti shared, “I wanted to go out into the world because I wanted to be an actor. I also loved writing, but I never told my dad about it. I’ll tell you a story. When I was in 7th or 8th standard, I wrote a song on a piece of paper. I wasn’t allowed to go out much, so I spent most of my time studying. I must have kept the paper on the dressing table, and it probably fell behind. I forgot about it completely.”
She further said, “It was a love song, and the handwriting was really bad, even though my handwriting is usually neat. My mom found it and wondered what it was. My dad thought Deepak had written it because of the handwriting. He asked who wrote it, and I was getting scolded because this kind of thing wasn’t allowed. I still didn’t admit it was mine. My mom always supported me in such things.”
