Malini Kapoor turns guide for sister Shalini in Jaipur

and their daughter were in Jaipur for a short trip. During the visit, her actress sister Malini, who lives in Jaipur now, turned a guide for her elder sister.

Malini, who is married to Jaipur boy and actor Ajay Sharma, has been living here since June. So when Shalini decided to pay her a visit, the younger sister turned a guide for the elder one. “Now I have become a Jaipur bahu and so, I know a lot about the places here. So, I became a guide for my didi. It was such a refreshing feeling to meet my family after four-and-a-half months! This is the longest that I have stayed away from my sister. Since both of us live in the same locality in Mumbai, we meet very frequently there. When I saw her and hugged her while welcoming her to my home, we couldn’t stop crying until the family started making fun of both of us! Both of us loved having the gol gappas, aloo ki tikki and the famous Rajasthani gatte ki sabzi here. We took them to Amber Fort and they also saw Jal Mahal,” Malini told us.

Shalini was visiting Jaipur after a couple of years and it was for the first time that she got to see the historical places. She shares, “I had purposely made this plan to come to New Delhi for karwa chauth so that I could also spend some quality time with Malini in Jaipur. I had last visited the pink city around two years back, when I came to shoot for the movie Dhadak and immediately fell in love with the vibes.” She adds, “This time, me and Malini had a lot to catch up on, since we were meeting after five months. We had so much more to do but there was limited time. But I managed to visit some of the historical places, especially the Amber Fort.”
