Malhar Pandya: It’s nice that people are still watching ‘Ramayan’

Malhar Pandya, who played the role of Hanuman in ‘Ramayan’ (2012), is glad that audiences are enjoying the reruns of mythological shows in the last two months. Te actor, who has been part of shows such as ‘Naagin 2’, ‘Nazar’ and Laal Ishq, among others, revealed that a lot of fans have messaged him, saying that like watching his show. Earlier, Malhar had revealed that Hanuman had been one of the most memorable characters that he had played.And that he was grateful that people were watching the re-run with so much interest.
Talking to us, Malhar said, “As the show is currently being aired on television, I watch every episode and feel happy that people are watching it, too. I have been receiving text messages from friends and fans, who say that they’re also enjoying the show. While watching every episode, I remember all the fun on-set activities we indulged in and call up my co-actors and relive the memories with them.”

The actor even mentioned that it wasn’t easy to play Hanuman. “It took hours of make-up to get ready and then I couldn't eat anything apart from sipping on juices until shooting was wrapped up for the day. It was challenging, yet satisfying to play the character of Hanuman,” ended Malhar.
