Main Bhi Ardhangini’s team enjoys a lavish iftar party in Jaipur
It’s the month of Ramzan and people are fasting and hosting
Away from home, the team celebrated iftar and indulged in some scrumptious delicacies on the sets. The director decided to wrap up the shoot early and ensured that the team got some time off. The feast consisted of samosas and chhole puri along with some dishes like chicken and mutton kebabs and nihari biryani. The team also indulged in a plate of fresh juicy mangoes along with other fresh fruits. And finally, small pots of delectable phirni were polished off.
Actress Deepshikha Nagpal who plays Nilambari on the show, said, “Although I am not a Muslim and don’t fast, I absolutely love this ritual. The entire team waited to break their roza till my last shot was done, just so that I could join them too. We are considering doing this on a regular basis, especially for all the members who fast during the day. I feel really connected with my team and now look forward to celebrating Eid with them which otherwise has always been celebrated with my dear friend, Ayub Khan. Being away from home, we tend to miss all these special occasions and festivities. This was an extremely sweet gesture by the makers of the show. And what better way to celebrate than to share a good meal with your team? I am a vegetarian, and enjoyed all the veg dishes and ate like there’s no tomorrow (laughs).”

Muslim-Hindu relationship is an amazing one. On one hand majority of the terrorists come from Muslim religion on the other hand Muslims in most part of India speak the same Mother-Tongue without any pretensions that of the majority community like Marathi, Bengali, Hindi & Tamil. The rivalry between Muslims & Hindus is mostly because of double-faced Hindu Politicians and all of them belonging to the Secular Parties.Read allPost comment
