Mahesh Thakur turns baddie for the first time on TV

After years of playing the good man, whether it was the good husband, father or son, Mahesh Thakur is turning bad on the small screen. The actor will be playing a vicious character in 'Ishqbaaz'. Ask him if this was a conscious decision and he says, “Of course. How long will people see me doing good roles and I will continue to be like just another guy in a show? I also got similar roles in Bollywood initially, so I had to venture into a different zone in films, too.Luckily, television has a lot of choices for actors now.”

Mahesh is not only playing a negative role for the first time, but he will also sport a new look. “For the first time, I will sport a moustache and beard on TV. They are making me look like a real man,” he laughs.
