'Ishqbaaz'

. Ask him if this was a conscious decision and he says, “Of course. How long will people see me doing good roles and I will continue to be like just another guy in a show? I also got similar roles in Bollywood initially, so I had to venture into a different zone in films, too. Luckily, television has a lot of choices for actors now.”


Mahesh is not only playing a negative role for the first time, but he will also sport a new look. “For the first time, I will sport a moustache and beard on TV. They are making me look like a real man,” he laughs.
